Microsoft Whiteboard – Digital canvas

Microsoft Whiteboard is a digital collaboration canvas on which you can draw, write, add note cards, paste pages from a file, and so on. It can be used either to work alone or to share the output with others either for review or co-working.
Please notice! You can only share whiteboards inside your organization, which means that users must log in to the HAMK-network with a user ID to view boards.

When to use the Whiteboard?
As a student, you could use Whiteboard for example:
- Planning project work
- Planning a specific task
- Visualizing
- Brainstorming session
- To take notes.
As a teacher, Whiteboard is well suited for example:
- Designing modules, blueprints
- Brainstorming with students
- Visualizing
- Co-operating in meetings.
Where can I find the Whiteboard app?
Whiteboard is part of Microsoft’s Office 365 service, and you can find it through portal.office.com. Choose the Whiteboard-icon from the waffle menu at the top left.
Using Whiteboard during a Teams meeting
You can also create a new whiteboard during a Teams meeting. You can find the icon behind the “Share”-button.
